We had a pretty good storm on Sunday it basically snowed from Saturday night about 9:00 ish until about 11:00 Sunday night. We got almost a foot of snow in the course of that 24 hours and the kids thought it was pretty cool to watch the snow pile up through out the day. we were all almost ready to go to church when we got the call, and Text, and email (all form different sources) that church was canceled! It ended up being a nice day, Eric was home and we don't get very many of these days were we are all home all day together. We drank hot cocoa and read books and colored pictures all day long.
At about 4:30 the snow slowed down enough that Eric took Olivia and Talmage out to help shovel the driveway. They had a ball playing in the snow and throwing snowballs at Eric.
Eric retaliated and tried to bury Olivia in heaps of snow from the driveway.
The kids were so funny they would try to throw these BIG snowballs at Eric but the snowballs they were trying to throw were too big for them and not many of them made contact with Eric.

Olivia had a blast playing outside in the snow Ellen however chose to stay inside and help me prepare dinner. She peeled her first potato and helped me with the carrots.
Talmage worked on shoveling the walk going into the neighbors backyard he worked really hard with that shovel! What a big helper!
