The girls had their birthdays this week, they are now 2 and 4. We had a party for them with the grandparents and Becca and Geoff before we came to Colorado Springs and they had a blast with all of their new toys (They were totally spoiled by their mangas and papas). Then for Ellen's big 4th birthday we took her to garden of the Gods to have a picnic and go for a walk. Then we baked a cake, went swimming, BBQed hot dogs, and sang happy birthday. All in all it was a really fun day! I'm so glad that her birthday landed on a Saturday this year, It was really fun to make the day extra special for her.
