On days like today when the temperatures reach near 100 degrees I get the itch to go up and visit my parents at their cabin. Here are some of the pictures from last week when we went up for a Saturday BBQ. Mom put up an inflatable pool and the kids had a great time splashing around until their lips turned blue. Then when they were all dry the kids enjoyed being read to by their Manga. It's amazing the difference in temperature difference just 10 minutes up Mill Creek Canyon. By the time we were ready to go home it was nearly cool enough to wear a sweatshirt. Maybe we will have to move in with Mom and Dad for the duration of the summer. Too bad there is only one bedroom. Guess we will just have to visit more often on the hottest days.
